Explore your smartphone directly on your PC! Transfer your documents and
images. Backup and restore your important data. Manage any file on your smartphone
in usual windows explorer style. Drag-and-drop files and even complete
folders with subfolders and files from your desktop or Explorer directly to
to your smartphone and vice versa. Cut/copy/paste files and
folders from and to clipboard. With Desktop FileMan you get direct access to
all your smartphone files just like you work with your data on your PC.
How to get started:
- Install PC Suite for your device and connect it to your PC.
- Download the latest version of Desktop FileMan and install it.
- In order to start Desktop FileMan click the Start button, select
Programs, then click Desktop FileMan shortcut in SymbianWare folder or just click Desktop FileMan icon on your desktop.
Overview of Desktop FileMan functions:
- Desktop FileMan can copy folders as well as single files! You don't have to switch from one folder to another in order to copy the necessary files.
- Copy/Move operations: you either can use native Windows Drag'n'Drop operations to copy or move files or
use clipboard operations (Copy/Cut/Paste).
- Delete file or folder operation.
- Rename file or folder operation.
- New folder.
- Properties dialog.
- Address combobox with current path.
Behind the screen
- Desktop Fileman uses special algorithms allowing you to manage your data on the smartphone in the fastest
way with direct connection to the device without additional layers, etc.
- Desktop FileMan doesn't use temporary folders, it copies files/folders
directly to the device!
